I am hoping to learn a lot from this class, I am pretty good at navigating my way around computers at this point in my life. There really isn't much I can't figure out if it's something I am not knowledgeable of as far as computers are concerned but I am always up for learning something new. I recently got a mac computer and this is a bit challenging for me as I have never used a mac. I am still at the point where I'm saying where's the trash and how do I get these documents into it? I feel like I am figuring it out as I go but as a long time Windows user it's a lot different for me. I am hopeful that I am doing what is required and a bit more, its taking a bit for me to get back into the swing of having tasks to complete for a class as I haven't been in the classroom in a long time! I look forward to signing in every day and seeing others comments and different points of view on various topics. My goal is to finally receive a degree from a Massachusetts college as this is my home and I miss it terribly and I'm happy that I can finally work towards this goal.
Hey Erin, It looks like you have this whole blogging thing under control. I have to say I have a mac and I think they are the best. They are actually very user friendly once you get a hang of them. Although a bit of adjustment from the traditional PC. If you have any questions, Ill do my best to help. So on your other post, you said that you are a liberal arts major. Do you have any plans for when you graduate?
ReplyDeleteBlake,
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm sure I will have questions for you as I think I have only hit the tip of the iceburg as far as the capabilities of the mac. I am a liberal arts major with a concentration in psychology and legal studies (as of right now). I have completed 60 credits so far and have 60 to go. I have wanted to complete my degree for years and always found one excuse or another not to. I am a stay at home mom and thrive on keeping busy and I couldn't find a better time than right now to start taking classes again. For me, I want my degree because I know it is something I should have done the first time around and thinking that I left it open ended has bothered me for years. When my daughter is old enough to go to school I'm sure I'll go back to work. Will I be the career driven woman I was 10-15 years ago, no, I've done that. I want my degree for me, my piece of mind because I know it is something, yet another thing that I can accomplish.
